Headbanger Marketing ("Headbanger," "we," "us," or "our") provides digital advertising and lead-management services. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information through headbangermarketing.com, the Headbanger Marketing Meta developer app (App ID 2109348682993064), and related advertising workflows that we operate for clients.
1. Scope and our role
This policy applies when you visit our website, contact us, authorize or administer our Meta app, interact with an advertisement or lead form that we manage, or otherwise use our related services.
When we manage advertising and leads for a client, we handle information to provide services to that client. The client normally determines what service is advertised and how its leads are contacted and served. The client's own privacy notice may also apply. Headbanger is responsible for its own website enquiries, business administration, security, and the systems it chooses to provide its services.
2. Information we may collect
- Contact and enquiry information: name, telephone number, email address, postal code, requested service, timing, and information submitted in a form or message.
- Lead and campaign information: lead ID, submission date, source URL, campaign and advertisement identifiers, attribution information, status, assigned owner, follow-up notes, and notification status.
- Meta account and asset information: Meta user or system-user identifiers, business, advertising account and Page identifiers, permissions and access status, campaigns, ad sets, advertisements, targeting, budgets, creatives, pixels, events, forms, and performance information.
- Website and device information: IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, security events, consent preferences, and advertising measurement events.
- Business and service information: client and supplier contacts, instructions, correspondence, work records, and billing or contractual records.
We do not ask you to send us Facebook passwords or access tokens through enquiry forms or privacy requests.
3. How we receive information
We may receive information directly from you or an authorized representative, from a client whose campaign we manage, from Meta and other authorized advertising platforms, from websites and advertising forms, and from service providers that help us deliver or secure our services.
When enabled and authorized, Meta information may arrive through the Marketing API, account access, lead retrieval, webhooks, or related Meta business tools.
4. How we use information
- Create, manage, measure, and troubleshoot advertising campaigns and related assets.
- Receive, validate, deduplicate, route, and record enquiries and leads.
- Notify appropriate client representatives of a lead by email or SMS.
- Provide reports, support, account administration, and requested client services.
- Authenticate authorized users and protect accounts, systems, and information.
- Maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations.
- Improve services using aggregated or de-identified information where practical.
We do not use Meta Platform Data for purposes unrelated to providing, securing, or improving the authorized advertising and lead-management service. We do not sell personal information.
5. Advertising measurement and choices
Our website uses an OpenAI advertising measurement pixel to measure visits and successful enquiries. Depending on its settings, this technology may process browser, device, page, referral, campaign, and event information. Client websites and campaigns may use Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar tools as disclosed on those websites.
Where a website provides cookie or measurement controls, you can use them to decline optional technologies. You can also adjust browser settings. Meta and other platforms provide separate controls for their services and business integrations.
An authorized business administrator may remove Headbanger's access to a Meta business asset or revoke the app through Meta settings. Removing access stops future access through that authorization but does not automatically delete records retained for an existing client engagement, security, a dispute, or law.
6. When we disclose information
We may disclose information as needed for the purposes above to:
- the client and authorized client representatives responsible for the enquiry or advertising account;
- Meta and other advertising platforms used for the authorized service;
- service providers that host, automate, secure, store, measure, or deliver services, including Cloudflare, Google Workspace and Google Sheets, n8n-based automation, Brevo, and Twilio;
- professional advisers, insurers, auditors, or parties to a business transaction, subject to appropriate protections; and
- government, regulatory, law-enforcement, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or systems.
Service providers may process information outside your province, state, country, or Canada. Information in another jurisdiction may be subject to that jurisdiction's laws.
7. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose. Relevant factors include client instructions, the service relationship, lead follow-up, account administration, security, dispute resolution, and legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
When information is no longer required, we delete it, de-identify it, or securely dispose of it. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups until overwritten through the normal backup cycle. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained for analysis and reporting.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. These include restricting access, using protected connections, keeping credentials out of public websites, and limiting public forms and systems to information needed for their purpose.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Contact us promptly if you believe information has been exposed or misused.
9. Access, correction, deletion, and complaints
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable exceptions. You may also ask how information was used or disclosed or raise a privacy concern.
Email tien@headbangermarketing.com with enough information to locate the relevant records. We may verify identity or authority using information proportionate to the request. When information belongs to a client relationship, we may coordinate with or direct the request to that client.
Our process is explained in the Data Deletion Instructions. We aim to respond within 30 days. If we need more information or applicable law permits more time, we will explain that within the initial response period.
10. Children
Our website, app, and advertising-management services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through these services. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
11. Third-party services
Our services may link to or interact with Meta, Google, client websites, or other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. This policy does not control information that a third party collects independently.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through an appropriate additional notice.
